L&T wins significant building orders in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad
Larsen & Toubro orders for residential and commercial towers in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, classed as significant; order value not disclosed.
Larsen & Toubro orders for its Residential, Commercial Buildings & Factories (RCF) business were announced on 2 November 2026. In a press release filed with the stock exchanges, the company said the business secured multiple orders from a prestigious client for two residential developments and one commercial development. The company did not disclose the order value.
Larsen & Toubro orders: what they cover
- Mumbai: an order for nine high-rise residential towers, each with one basement and 50 floors.
- Bengaluru: an order for nine residential towers, each with three basements and 25 floors.
- Hyderabad: an order for a premium commercial tower with five basements and 22 floors.
- Add-on orders for some of the business’s ongoing projects.
How big the orders are
L&T describes the orders as “Significant” in its release headline. The company’s order classification table defines that band as Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 2,500 crore. The release gives no exact value for the orders, so the band is the only size figure the company has published. The bands go up to “Ultra-Mega”, which is above Rs 15,000 crore.
About the company
The release describes L&T as a USD 32 billion Indian multinational engaged in EPC projects, high-tech manufacturing, products and services. EPC means engineering, procurement and construction, where one company builds a project from design to handover. The RCF business sits within the company’s buildings and factories work.
What to watch next
The company does not say when the projects will start or how long they will take to build. Order inflow and the value of the orders are usually reported in the company’s quarterly results and later updates. More company news is on the results news page.
