Why profit fell
Managing director and CEO Vimal Kejriwal said the quarter was hit by geopolitical and supply chain disruption in the Middle East, right-of-way and land acquisition problems in the India transmission and distribution (T&D) business, and slower supplies on some projects because of high global costs. He said revenue still grew from the June quarter, led by T&D.
