Chambal Fertilisers declares Rs 5 interim dividend; Q2 standalone profit up 6% to Rs 635 crore

Chambal Fertilisers dividend of Rs 5 per share has a record date of 11 November 2026. The board declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share (50% of the Rs 10 face value) on 3 November 2026 and said it will be paid or dispatched on or before 2 December 2026, according to its exchange filing.

Chambal Fertilisers dividend: payment date

The record date is the cut-off day on which a shareholder must be on the company’s books to receive the dividend. NSE corporate action data lists the ex-dividend date as 11 November 2026 too, so shares must be bought before then to qualify. The Rs 5 payout is the same size the company announced alongside its September quarter results.

Revenue rose sharply from Rs 5,027 crore in the June 2026 quarter, but profit slipped from Rs 703.5 crore to Rs 635.0 crore. Finance costs were Rs 22.4 crore against Rs 0.9 crore a year earlier. The filing carries no exceptional items and does not itself explain the movements.

By segment, own-manufactured fertilisers brought in Rs 4,629 crore of revenue versus Rs 3,317 crore a year ago, while complex fertilisers fell to Rs 1,978 crore from Rs 2,721 crore.

What to watch next

Six-month standalone profit was Rs 1,338 crore against Rs 1,240 crore a year earlier. In our view, the shift in mix between own-made and complex fertilisers, and subsidy rates, are worth watching. See related results news and our Coromandel Q2 story.
